Privacy Policy

Praxia (“Praxia”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Tiago Tavares, an independent operator based in Portugal. This policy explains what data we collect through mypraxia.app (the “Service”), why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, email contact@mypraxia.app.

1. What we collect

We collect three broad categories of data:

• Account data — your name, email address, and authentication details, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Football data you enter — anything you add to plan and manage your team: club and team details, squad and player information (positions, characteristics, availability, injuries), season plans, your Coach DNA answers (philosophy, formations, methodology), weekly plans, training sessions, and reports.
• Billing data— if you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment and stores your card details. We never see or store your full card number — only your plan, subscription status, and Stripe's customer/subscription identifiers.

2. How we use it

• To provide and operate the Service you signed up for.
• To generate AI-powered recommendations (the Weekly Planner, report drafting) — the relevant football data for that specific request is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to produce the response. That data is not used to train Anthropic's models, per our agreement with them.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions, via Stripe.
• To send transactional email (team invites, billing receipts, notifications), via Resend.
• To respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your data to perform the contract formed by our Terms of Service (providing the Service you signed up for), on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving Praxia, and, for payments, to comply with legal obligations around billing records. We don't send marketing email today; if that changes, we'll rely on your consent and give you a clear way to opt out.

4. Who we share data with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run the Service on our behalf, each acting as a data processor under its own terms:

• Clerk — authentication and account security.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Anthropic — generating AI-powered recommendations.
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• Neon — hosting our PostgreSQL database.
• Vercel — application hosting and file storage for PDF exports.
• Sentry — error monitoring, so we can find and fix bugs.
• PostHog — product analytics, so we can understand how the product is actually used.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your team or account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records for longer — billing history, for example, which we retain as required by tax law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in Portugal, the CNPD. To exercise any of these, email contact@mypraxia.app.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use the session cookies our authentication provider (Clerk) needs to keep you signed in, plus cookies from PostHog, our product analytics provider, to understand which features get used and how often — not to advertise to you or track you across other sites. We don't run any third-party advertising or ad-tracking cookies.

8. Children's privacy

Praxia is a professional tool for football coaches and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data, and rely on providers (Clerk, Stripe, Neon, Vercel) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is material, we'll let you know by email.
